RTÉ News reports that HIQA confirmed that "through its inspections" of both nursing homes it had "identified a number of significant concerns". The findings of the RTÉ investigation into two nursing homes run by Ireland’s largest provider was likened to “institutional abuse”. HIQA had stopped admissions to one of the nursing homes prior to the programme being aired last night.
