1 INTRODUCTION According to 2020 Cancer Data, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth most prevalent cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death worldwide, resulting in a significant disease burden.1 Metabolic risk factors for HCC are becoming more prevalent despite the hepatitis virus remaining the main cause.2 At the moment, nondrug treatments include ablation, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), liver transplantation, and hepatic resection.

STs and CAs of PEW Solution Droplets with Different KAO A-200 ConcentrationsThe 0.42%, 0.83% and 1.67% concentrations of KAO A-200 were added to the 5% concentration PEW solution at the recommended dosage (60 mL, 27 g a.i. per 1.2 L solution), respectively. Figure 6 shows the wetting changes in the 5% concentration PEW solution droplets with different concentrations of KAO A-200.

AbstractRaman scattering provides a convenient mechanism to generate or amplify light at wavelengths where gain is not otherwise available. When combined with recent advancements in high-power fiber lasers that operate at wavelengths ~2 μm, great opportunities exist for Raman systems that extend operation further into the mid-infrared regime for applications such as gas sensing, spectroscopy, and biomedical analyses.
