We’ll get a brief return of sunshine on Tuesday before more clouds and a few showers move in by Wednesday. Some showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon with a few strong to severe storms possible. A cut-off-low will plague the weather this weekend. Expect on-and-off scattered showers, cooler temperatures and mostly cloudy skies. Highs will only top out in the 60s Saturday and Sunday.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Southerly winds will warm temperatures to above-average levels through the beginning of the work week. We are on Alert Tuesday for the potential for some severe storms. More showers and storms will be possible through the end of the work week. High pressure will slide off to our east on Monday. Winds will then turn out of the south allowing warm and moist air to return to the region. Highs on Monday will top out in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies.
