EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The cut-off-low will linger around the region through Monday before lifting to the north on Tuesday. We’ll get a brief return of sunshine on Tuesday before more clouds and a few showers move in by Wednesday. Some slight chances for an isolated shower or storm remain in the forecast through the end of next week, but nothing looks like a washout!For the rest of our afternoon anticipate cloudy skies with on-and-off scattered showers.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Southerly winds will warm temperatures to above-average levels through the beginning of the work week. We are on Alert Tuesday for the potential for some severe storms. More showers and storms will be possible through the end of the work week. High pressure will slide off to our east on Monday. Winds will then turn out of the south allowing warm and moist air to return to the region. Highs on Monday will top out in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The frontal boundary stalled across western Kentucky will guide yet another wave of storms and heavy rain through the Tri-State this afternoon and into tonight. Flooding will worsen as 1-3″ of additional rainfall is expected across the area this evening and into Sunday. Rain will become lighter and more scattered into Sunday before completely tapering off Sunday night.
