***FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING***Morning showers may mix with a few snowflakes, but most of us won't see any snow, and do not expect any accumulation where we do see snow. Precipitation will move out through midday into the afternoon, with the sky gradually clearing from northwest to southeast late Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. Temperatures today will be chilly with highs holding in the upper 40s.
Gusty north to northwest winds behind a cold front Sunday

A cold front will sweep across the region Sunday morning bringing a dry and gusty north to northwest wind. As a result, an elevated to high grass fire threat is expected. No outdoor burning with a few gusts in the 30-35 mph range. A steady flow of high level clouds will filter the sun as temps hold in the upper 60s to near 70°. Still some clouds mixed with the sun in the region on Monday. Lows down to the low 40s with highs in the upper 70s.

Some isolated spots could see up to 8" or 9"). Mostly cloudy with additional chances of showers and thunderstorms for Sunday. Some could be strong to severe during the afternoon and evening with all hazards possible. Highs today in the upper 60s.

***FLOOD WATCH in effect through Monday 6PM***An active weather pattern will bring several rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms across Green Country over the next few days. Through Saturday afternoon, expect only a few isolated showers with lots of clouds. I would keep your plans as any showers should stay light. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Chances for more scattered to widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms will go up Saturday night into Sunday morning.

TULSA, Okla — Happy Mother's Day!!A few showers and and perhaps some thunder will be possible near and north of I-44 this morning. By this afternoon are chances will be lower, but still can't rule out a stray shower or storm. Rain chances will go up again late afternoon into tonight as another wave of showers and storms approaches from the southwest. No severe weather is expected. Keep the umbrella handy to start the week as the chance of a few isolated storms will remain on Monday.

TULSA, Okla — Can’t rule out an isolated storm or two developing tonight with a low-end severe threat, but most of us will remain dry through Thursday morning. Lows by daybreak will hold in the low/mid 60s. A cold front will make a push into Green Country on Thursday increasing our chances of showers and storms. As of now will keep chances at about 40% for Tulsa, but chances are 60-90% for those of you south and east of I-44.

TULSA, Okla — Can’t rule out an isolated storm or two developing Tuesday night with a low-end severe threat, but most of us will remain dry through Wednesday morning. Lows by daybreak will hold in the mid 50s. Wednesday will be a near repeat of Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s to near 80, a continued gusty south breeze, and slight storm chances. A “cap”, (a warm layer or air aloft), will likely limit vertical storm development Wednesday PM.

TULSA, Okla — After a beautiful Monday, the warm-up will continue through the middle of the week. Lows Tuesday morning will range from the mid 40s to low 50s. Gusty south winds are expected Tuesday with a few gusts around 35 to 40 mph. High temps will get a boost into the mid/upper 70s! There is a slim chance we see an isolated storm or two Tuesday late afternoon into Tuesday night with a wind and hail threat. Most of us stay dry. Lows will stay in the mid/upper 50s Wednesday morning.

TULSA, Okla — Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be likely through the morning hours. While the overall severe weather threat will not be very high, we still can’t rule out a marginal severe threat for gusty winds and 1” diameter hail. A break in the activity looks likely this afternoon across the metro. Higher chances of rain will remain in southeast parts of the region.
