A pair of Boston institutions are expanding their partnership to the gridiron. The Boston College football team will switch to New Balance uniforms this fall, when the Brighton-based shoe and apparel company enters the major college football space for the first time. Except for their helmets, Eagles players will be clad in New Balance cleats, socks, gloves, jerseys, and pants. The move completes the school’s partnership with New Balance, which outfits the other 30 BC sports teams.
