MORGANTON, N.C. (WBTV/Gray News) - A woman has been charged after three children were critically hurt when a car slammed into a roadside lemonade stand in North Carolina. A two-car crash happened last Tuesday afternoon in Burke County when a Chevrolet SUV pulled out in front of a Nissan Altima. The collision sent the Nissan off the right side of the road and into a lemonade stand, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

The water from the creek rose fast, as around four inches of rain fell Thursday night in parts of Southwest Charlotte. CLOVER, S.C. (WBTV) - A York County family hopes state troopers are close to answers in a man’s hit and run death earlier this month in Clover. Raheem Parker, 31, died when he was struck while riding a bicycle on Highway 55 before Paraham Road around 5:45 a.m. June 8. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the vehicle that hit Parker didn’t stop, but continued driving. Parker’s mother, Melinda Latta, said her son was thrown around 140 feet.
