Greensboro — Two Guilford County Schools have switched to remote learning for the rest of the week due to issues with the HVAC system’s. Triangle Lake Montessori and Western Guilford have closed school doors early today due to HVAC systems not working properly. “At Triangle Lake we had issues with the HVAC controls which tell the unit when to come on and when to cut off,” Monk said. Julius Monk, Deputy Superintendent for business and operations says they’re working quickly to resolve the issue.

Students who attend school within the Alamance- Burlington School System will have to wait just a little while longer before they can attend class. The school district has delayed the first day of school again pushing the start date to Sept 11. Students were originally scheduled to start school on Sept 5., but according to the district more than 25 schools are infested with mold.

ABC 45’s Michaela Legget had the chance to sit down with a UNC Student about the tragic incident. Students at UNC Chaple Hill were on lockdown Monday after a gunman was on campus. Adamance County — The number of Alamance Burlington County Schools affected by mold continues to grow. The Alamance Burlington County School board and County Commissioners met this morning to discuss the amount of money needed to address the issue. This was a very intense meeting and emotions were high as the school board and county commissioners were unable to reach an agreement as to how and where the money should be spent causing one parent to have an emotional outburst.
