Autosphere was among Pirelli’s privileged guests at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Montreal, enjoying exclusive access to everything this event represents for the Italian manufacturer. Some 70 Pirelli distributors and partners, accompanied by several representatives from the Italian company, were invited to take part in a series of activities as part of the festivities, most notably to enjoy the action from the luxurious Pirelli suite in the Paddock Club.

On June 5, a dozen core members of the Autosphere Media team met in Montreal for their semi-annual strategic planning session. The event brought together team members from both the Montreal and Toronto offices for a day of in-person collaboration and updates on key projects across the organization. It also marked the first gathering since the launch of the new Fleet&Mobility magazine.

Building on the success of last year’s event, Fix Network brought back its major evening celebration to mark the launch of the festivities surrounding the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix. As a reminder, Fix Network is a partner of the Stake Kick/Sauber racing team and leverages this relationship to set the tone for its VIP event. A strong delegation from the company’s leadership team was in attendance, led by President Steve Leal.

The vehicle drives over a floor plate between two towers, and moments later, a service advisor presents the customer with a document illustrating the condition of their tires and wheel alignment. This technology has existed for several years, and new models are gradually appearing in our market. A few shops here have even acquired them. These systems, based on high-definition cameras or lasers, read and document wheel angles during a simple drive-through to detect any anomalies.
