Zoox is moving closer to rolling out its robotaxi service in Las Vegas after partnering with a north Strip resort and moving on from a crash involving one of its self-driving vehicles. Amazon-owned Zoox signed a deal with Resorts World that named the autonomous vehicle company the official robotaxi partner for the resort. The deal includes a dedicated pickup and drop off location at Resorts World, as well as an experiential activation inside the resort.

The UFC is being sued yet again by a former fighter who claims the Las Vegas-based mixed martial arts promoter violated antitrust laws and has a monopoly on the sport. Mikhail Cirkunovs, who fought for the UFC under the name Misha Cirkunov, filed a class action lawsuit last week in District Court on behalf of himself and any other fighter who has fought in a live UFC event since July 1, 2017. The suit seeks over $75,000 in damages.

A final round of 215 Beltway lane closures planned for this weekend will be the last one tied to the construction of the Peace Way bridge in Summerlin, as the project nears completion. From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday into Monday and Monday into Tuesday, the 215 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue, Clark County announced Thursday. The lane restrictions are needed for the painting of the Peace Way bridge.

Work will soon begin on a $160 million project to widen the 215 Beltway in Henderson. Local, state and federal dignitaries were on hand Wednesday morning for a groundbreaking ceremony for the transformative project that not only will add lanes on 215 but also will make changes to Green Valley Parkway over the highway. The project is expected to take nearly three years to complete. Plans call for expanding the 215 by two lanes in each direction between Pecos Road and Stephanie Street.

BetMGM and the Aces have agreed to a multiyear partnership, the sports betting company’s first deal with a professional women’s franchise. The deal, which runs through the 2027 season, was announced Tuesday night on the Strip, with a ceremonial blast of the Bellagio fountains. As part of the deal, BetMGM signage will be featured inside Michelob Ultra Arena, where the Aces play their home games, and sponsorship will be featured on the team’s social media platforms.
