    Up to 15 Athletics games will air live on over-air-TV in Las Vegas this season. The select games will be simulcast from NBC Sports California on Fox 5 and their sister station, the Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network, the A’s announced Wednesday. Here’s the first 10 games slated to air on Fox 5.     Zoox issued a voluntary software recall for 270 of its autonomous vehicles and temporarily halted self-driving testing last month following a crash in Las Vegas involving one of the company’s robotaxis. The Amazon-owned Zoox, has been carrying out self-driving testing operations in Las Vegas since 2019, as the company ramps up toward the launch of its commercial ride-hailing service in Southern Nevada. The company operates out of a 190,000-square-foot headquarters located in the southwest valley.

    Federal Real ID requirements kicked in Wednesday, marking the first day airports around the country, including Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport, began requiring the enhanced driver’s license to pass through security checkpoints. After years of delaying the deadline, which adds the extra security measures set forth by the Real ID Act of 2005 in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, travelers are now required to possess the federally compliant state-issued license.

    The Aviators next “What If” night will serve as an ode to a Las Vegas legend: the all-you-can-eat buffet. For their May 16 game against the El Paso Chihuahuas at Las Vegas Ballpark, the Aviators will become the Las Vegas Belly Busters, a quirky play off the results of excess eating that buffets have provided for nearly 80 years. The buffet first started in Las Vegas in 1946 at the El Rancho, and the dining experience became a staple at many Las Vegas resorts.
