Orlando City head coach Oscar Pareja will remain suspended for Saturday's game against the Chicago Fire following a denied appeal by the MLS Disciplinary Committee, the league announced on Friday. Pareja was issued a red card moments after Bartosz Slisz scored the 2-2 equalizing goal during last Wednesday's game against Atlanta United, which ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Lions. Replay from the Apple broadcast showed Pareja and Atlanta coach Ronny Deila being separated during a heated exchange.

Share Share Orlando City head coach Oscar Pareja admitted following Saturday’s 1-0 win against Portland that his team may be starting to feel the effects of a heavy workload. Saturday’s game was the Lions’ sixth across all competitions during May. While Orlando walked away from Inter&Co Stadium with a win, Pareja noted the team’s low-energy performance in the second half was the result of ‘betting hard’ following last Wednesday’s to Nashville SC.
