While hiking in New York State there are many cautions to be aware of year-round. In the winter it's the cold, icy, snowy conditions. In the spring and fall it's slippery terrain from mud and leaves. You get the idea. Much of the hiking cautions have to do with your footing and making sure you have the proper shoes for the conditions. On August 2, 2024 Aerosmith, those bad boys from Boston, announced they were retiring from the touring stage. Lead singer Steven Tyler suffered a vocal chord injury, that will never completely heal, preventing the band from touring. Since the retirement announcement, bassist Tom Hamilton played a few shows with his new band Close Enemies and Steven Tyler himself was able to do short sets at his 'Jam for Janie' event in Los Angeles and the Janie's Fund show in San Francisco.
