Throughout the years, Chris Getzlaf has demonstrated leadership skills both on the football field and off - skills which have translated to a role on the sidelines for the upcoming 2025 Canadian Junior Football League season. It was announced at the start of the year that the former Saskatchewan Roughrider and two-time Grey Cup champion has joined the Regina Thunder coaching staff as an offensive consultant.

Rachel Mielke has always had a passion for design and creativity. However, the Regina native never quite imagined those interests would blossom into the creation of one of the most well-known jewellery brands in Canada. She launched Hillberg & Berk in 2007 in downtown Regina. Looking back, Mielke admits it was unusual that she believed she could start the brand from a smaller centre - such as Regina - rather than a larger city as other popular brands had done.

Leadership is a term Misiaykimigookpaypomwayotung, or Jacqueline Ottmann in English, has known all too well since her youth when she was growing up on Fishing Lake First Nation, approximately two hours from Regina on Treaty 4 territory. Ottmann, the president of First Nations University of Canada, said she learned what it takes to be a leader because of the strong leadership skills her parents demonstrated throughout her life.

What began as a daycare out of her home nearly 20 years ago has since grown to provide care for countless children with complex medical needs across Saskatchewan. Hope's Home, recognized as the first medically inclusive child-care facility in Canada, opened in 2005 in Regina. Jacqueline Tisher moved a dozen children from her home's daycare into their new facility. Today, Hope's Home has expanded to include centres in Saskatoon and Prince Albert along with a second centre in Regina.

The ribbon skirt is a symbol that represents womanhood and cultural identity for Isabella Kulak. It also serves as a symbol of strength and resilience, qualities often demonstrated by leaders when presented with trying situations. Isabella, who lives in Kamsack, Sask., and is a member of Cote First Nation, demonstrated these leadership characteristics after she was shamed by school staff for wearing a ribbon skirt to school on a formal day in December 2020.
