    A car was completely destroyed in a fire in Shepparton in the early hours of Friday, June 6. Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters were called to the fire in Byass St about 3.30am. An FRV spokesperson said the vehicle had hit a power pole. When firefighters arrived, no-one was with the vehicle, the spokesperson said. Power was cut to just over 300 homes and businesses after the crash.

An occupant of the pub called 000 while the people attempted to steal alcohol, police said. The people fled the scene before police arrived.
