Unknown perpetrators painted antisemitic graffiti at two locations near the SOU Student and Family Housing Complex on April 25, said Joe Mosley, public information officer for Southern Oregon University. Mosley confirmed the acts of vandalism in a text message. The university would not discuss details of the graffiti, except to state that it was “antisemitic in nature,” he said.

A $6.50-per-month parks fee for utility bills — smaller than a proposed $9 fee the City Council narrowly rejected in April — was recommended to the City Council through a unanimous vote by commissioners, but not without discussion and some trepidation.
