By Morgan Rothborne, Ashland.news After it burned about a half an acre, fire fighters declared a fire on the 1200 block of Eagle Mill Road mostly knocked down at about 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Watch Duty app. The fire was reported at 2:47 p.m., according to Watch Duty. A Jackson County Alerts message at 3:05 p.m. reported the grass fire was no threat to the city, but asked residents of the Oak Street and Eagle Mill Road neighborhoods to avoid the area until an all-clear is given.

Admission, parking and all activities for kids and adults are free. TOFS is a 501(c)(3) organization in Phoenix, Oregon, that rescues abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted farm animals, providing them with a forever home.
