I currently work at Wainscott Primary School in Medway. I started here in September of 2022, and I love it! I've recently completed a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship, achieving this qualification with The Childcare Company. All the coursework and research was really relevant to my specific role, so it felt very personalised. I have gained a lot of valuable experience working with children – which I love to do.

TGIF! Most of the Ozarks is off to a pleasant start. I say “most” because our far northern counties are much cooler, thanks to a stationary front stalling out north of Springfield. The front will shift back to the north on Friday, but thickening clouds will hamper the warmup. Temperatures will be cool with highs in the low to mid-50s with breezy southeast winds providing an additional chill to the air. Our next chance of rain is lining up for Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

Happy Wednesday!Wednesday will be downright chilly across the Ozarks. However, the good news is, it’ll be the coldest day of the next seven. Wednesday morning has brought snow to the central part of the state. With dry air in place, not much of it is making it to the ground but a few flurries will be possible throughout the morning hours. Viewer Rhonda Burris sent in a picture from Buffalo showing a skiff of snow on her car. The cold front is working through the area.

I have good news for your Friday! Temperatures will be warming over the next four days. The bad news is, we have a bitterly cold start for your Friday morning. Temperatures are starting off in the teens across the Ozarks. Under sunny skies we will warm into the mid-40’s for Friday. While we have very dry air at play, winds should be fairly calm for Friday, so a fire danger warning has not been issued. It still isn’t a good idea to burn because it is very dry out there.
