The City of Lehi's police department is trying to hire more officers, and it's asking the city to give it an extra million dollars to do so. Last fiscal year, the department got roughly $14 million from the city, and now they're asking for about $1.1 million more. In Lehi, residents said they support the funding for the police but want more transparency on where it's going and how it's being spent.
