DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- Warmer temperatures are expected for much of the week with humidity increasing Tuesday during the day. Highs will be close to 90 with lots of sunshine. Hazy conditions are likely due to wildfire smoke continuing to stream into the region from Canada. There is an Air Quality Alert issued for parts of the Miami Valley Tuesday due to higher Ozone levels. For more information on the alert, click here.

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- After a stretch of cooler than normal temps across the Miami Valley, warmer temps are expected for much of the week. Expect lots of sunshine today with highs in the lower 80s. Tonight, lows drop into the middle 50s under a mostly clear sky. Tomorrow will be even warmer with highs in the upper 80s and sunshine. We will also see hazy conditions due to wildfire smoke continuing to stream into the region from Canada.

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- Friday starts with periods of steady rain especially south of I-70. The steady rain moves out with scattered showers likely during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s to the lower 70s. Scattered showers continue into overnight Friday, but should leave by daybreak Saturday with lows in the middle 50s. The weekend will see some sunshine amidst passing clouds. Temps will be in the lower 70s Saturday and mid 70s Sunday.
