Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano said a bout of norovirus sent him to the Darlington Raceway infield care center for medical treatment after last week’s race. The Team Penske star said he had been ailing throughout the week ahead of the 400-mile race that was run in unseasonably warm 89-degree weather. He managed to complete all 297 laps and finish 13th on the 1.366-mile oval. kAm“x 925 2 DE@>249 G:CFD[ E92E ?@C@G:CFD[ 2?5 x E9@F89E x H2D 8@@5[” {@82?@ D2:5] “p?5 E96?

By NATE RYAN Associated PressWith added motivation to honor a late friend, Kyle Larson seemed to have an extra gear Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Hendrick Motorsports star led 411 of 500 laps in a victory that was dominant as it was emotional. Larson, racing just days after the death of Jon Edwards, his former public relations representative, picked up his second Cup win of the season. It was his 31st Cup victory and third at Bristol. "This one is definitely for Jon," Larson said.

A second consecutive victory at Bristol Motor Speedway was especially sweet for Kyle Larson, and one reason loomed large in his rearview mirror. The Hendrick Motorsports star fended off several challenges for the lead by Denny Hamlin as they ran in the top two positions for 251 of 500 laps — and with Larson always in first on the 0.533-mile oval. kAmx?
