CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One of golf’s four majors is coming to Charlotte this month as Quail Hollow Club prepares to host the 2025 PGA Championship. The PGA Championship is the second major tournament of the year, and comes a little over a month after Rory McIlroy completed the career grand slam with his dramatic victory at The Masters. McIlroy won the 2024 tournament at Quail Hollow, although that event was the Wells Fargo Championship.

(WBTV) - It’s a homecoming for Leon Boulware as he was named the head football coach at Rock Hill High School. “The opportunity to come home, you can’t let it slip away,” said Leon Boulware. Boulware is a graduate of Rock Hill and played with the Bearcats back in the day. He met his wife at the school so he is deeply invested in this community and the program. Boulware has 18 years of coaching experience with head coaching stops at Lewisville and Lugoff-Elgin.
