Full planning permission was sought from Warrington Borough Council for a proposed change of use of number 41 Froghall Lane in Bewsey. Applicant M&M Estates wanted the existing conventional address to become a large house of multiple occupation, or HMO.

Ms Aluko, who now works as a pundit, is suing Widnes resident Barton for libel over two posts he made in January last year on social media site X.

Cristian Stanca is wanted by police (Image: Cheshire Police) RESIDENTS are being urged to call the police if they see this wanted man. Cheshire Police is appealing to the public for help in tracing Cristian Stanca. The 27-year-old, who the force says is of Warrington, is wanted for failing to appear in court in relation to drugs offences. Stanca is described by police as being white, around 5'9" tall, with short dark brown hair and a beard and brown eyes.

Gary Boone was jailed at Chester Crown Court (Image: Cheshire Police) AN M6 driver who was caught with thousands of pounds worth of class A drugs has been ordered to repay more than £425,000 by the courts. In July 2023, Merseyside Police reported to Cheshire Police that they believed a car, being driven by Gary Boone on the motorway in Warrington, may be transporting a quantity of drugs.

Burger King in Winwick has reopened following a refurb A WARRINGTON Burger King restaurant has reopened – with 1,000 free burgers to be given out. Burger King has officially re-opened the doors to its newly refurbished Winwick branch today, Wednesday. The international firm says hungry people can now indulge in Burger King classics – such as the flame-grilled Whopper, classic Chicken Royale, and juicy Bacon Double XL – once again.
