SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Monday, May 26, was Memorial Day, and many in Siouxland took time to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving this country. There were dozens of events happening in the tri-state area, and here are some KTIV covered. American Legion 241 in Le Mars set out to make this Memorial Day a special one with the 60th annual Avenue of Flags program. Dozens of community members packed the Le Mars Middle School Auditorium, all of them there to honor fallen soldiers.
