FOX 12 correspondent Willie Anderson, a proud member of the PTFC class of 1975 went around with the microphone to greet some of his old mates before Portland’s home match, as the club honored the original members of the team, who made it all the way to the NASL Soccer Bowl five decades ago.

While Beaver Nation is rooting for OSU, so is a Hillsboro-based company helping the team swing for the fences. (AP) — Trent Caraway hit a grand slam and Gavin Turley added a two-run home run in the third inning to help No. 8 seed Oregon State beat Florida State 14-10 on Sunday night to win the best-of-three Corvallis Super Regional. The Beavers (47-14-1) advance to the College World Series for the eighth time in program history and the first since 2018, when Oregon State won the most recent of its CWS titles.
