    SKUNK ANANSIE + SO GOOD – BRIGHTON DOME 15.4.25Tuesday night, we were again at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall to see Skunk Anansie (SA). Support was from newcomer So Good, a ‘Brat-Pop’ artist currently enjoying rising fame on TikTok with the ‘safe for work’ version of her infectious track ‘If I Had A…’. Anticipation in the venue was high. Reports from earlier nights on the tour had returned that the set was unforgettable and a ‘must-see’.

    This morning local promoters Hidden Herd have announced yet another of their monthly ‘Hidden Herd Presents’ new music discovery nights which aim to put the spotlight on the most exciting emerging artists, ones-to-watch and real hidden gems. This time around the event will be taking place at The Hope & Ruin (which is located on Queens Road, not too far from the clock-tower) on Wednesday 18th June and will feature live sets from thistle., goodbye, Ain’t and CARNE. Let’s meet the bands…. thistle.

    [16th April] British indie icons The Kooks have announced a major UK tour, including their biggest ever headline show at London’s The O2 on 11th October. Tickets go on sale Friday 25th April, 10am with a special pre-sale available to a number of fans on 23rd April. The ‘Never/Know’ tour, kicking off on the 3rd October will see the group visit Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton, Newcastle, Birmingham, and London for a series of huge arena shows.

    After a much-anticipated wait, Brighton Psych Fest have announced their third wave of acts that will be performing at the 2025 festival, which will be taking place across multiple iconic Brighton venues on Friday 29th August 2025, including Concorde 2, The Hope & Ruin, Green Door Store,  Komedia, The Prince Albert and other venues still to be announced. The monumental lineup sees concert promoter and events organiser, JOY.

    The Great Escape which is taking place in Brighton from 14th to 17th May 2025 have unveiled its full festival schedule for this year’s edition, which can be accessed via the official The Great Escape mobile app. The Great Escape mobile app helps fans navigate the mammoth line-up of 450+ artists and allows festival and conference-goers to build their own personal schedule. It also offers live updates on site and is available to download for free HERE.
