State police said shots were fired following an argument in Derry Township, Westmoreland County.The incident happened back on May 9 on Alexandria Street.State police said Matthew Felbaum, 43, of Latrobe, was in a verbal altercation with a friend and later fired two rounds from a handgun into the ceiling of an occupied structure in an attempt to scare the victim. Felbaum was arrested and taken to the Westmoreland County Jail.He faces a preliminary hearing on May 21.

A power outage left more than 1,000 Duquesne Light customers in the dark on Wednesday morning.As of 4:00 a.m., the company’s outage map was reporting just over 1,300 customers without service in Wilkinsburg and other communities.Service was expected to be restored between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 has reached out to Duquesne Light for additional information.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate a fire at a home in Wilkins Township on Monday morning.The fire broke out at around 12:15 a.m. on the third floor of a home on the 700 block of Thompson Street.Everyone who was inside of the home got out safely.
