What a difference a race makes. Or rather, what a difference a race makes when you end up in victory lane. That’s a relevant thought because of all the handwringing over the slow start for defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano. In fact, slow start is probably underselling it just a tad, as he came into Texas Motor Speedway with just one top-10 result (an eighth at Martinsville Speedway) and fresh off a 39th-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway.

It’s that time again. A little later in April than is traditionally the case, WrestleMania 41 rolls into Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to once again put on the biggest show in pro wrestling. The highlight of the first night is a rare Triple Threat match with no title on the line. But there is plenty of history and intrigue to propel Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins into the spotlight, and there are multiple championship matches in store as well.

The pace of the NASCAR Cup Series season doesn’t leave much time for self-reflection. As soon as one race weekend finishes, it’s time to pack up the haulers and head for the next venue. This coming weekend, with a break for Easter, is a rare exception. If anyone needs to look in the mirror during the time off, it’s NASCAR itself, because a series of decisions made by the people in charge has combined to put its top series in a rut.

We can’t say wrestlers grow up dreaming of winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament since it’s only a few years old. Yet it is one of the things that AEW has done that is almost universally loved by fans, so this time of year is always a good one. Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, coming to us from Springfield, Mass., is heavily built around the Owen, with three matches total between the men’s and women’s tourneys.

Literally could not think of a performer who would benefit more from being the next Paul Heyman Guy than Breakker. Loved that ending. #RawAfterMania
