Trader Joe's, the 58-year-old Monrovia-based store known for its nautical vibes, in-brand frozen foods and viral mini tote bags, had an average score of 82.1, which narrowly beat out Patagonia's score of 82.0. Trader Joe's bested 99 other well-known businesses, including Costco, Apple, Nintendo, Amazon and In-N-Out.
