Zachary Burnett is the lead vocalist and a guitar player. “I grew up outside of outside of Waco and then I went to Texas, A&M,” Burnett said. “I graduated in 2021... BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - This legislative session, Texas lawmakers targeted social media platforms to make the internet safer for minors. Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 2420 into law just over a week ago. That bill establishes age verification requirements and parental consent before a minor can create a social media account, but that law doesn’t go into effect until next year and protecting children from the dangers of the internet isn’t something new.

Brazos Valley Representative Paul Dyson said his first session was a learning experience. “There is a lot of learning, as you can imagine, being a freshman just from day one kind of going through and building those relationships over those first few months,” Rep. Dyson said.
