There is nothing quite like the thrill of getting into a new TV show. Over the past several years, there has been a shift in how people watch television, with cable TV slowly becoming obsolete and streaming services gaining widespread acceptance. What once felt like a communal experience — friends planning weekly watch parties or families gathering around the TV to tune in to the latest episode — has been disrupted by the rise of binge-watching.

Heart disease continues to be one of the leading causes of death in the United States. In an effort to promote wellness and educate others on how to be prepared in a heart-related emergency situation, the University of La Verne has partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to provide hands-only CPR training to the campus and local community through the Heart for Heroes campaign.
