(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs Police Department K9 helped arrest a suspects who was wanted on various felony charges on Thursday, April 17. At around 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, officers located a suspect wanted for felony Domestic Violence Assault by Strangulation and felony Kidnapping. When officers tried to contact him, the suspect ran away from officers, into the 600 block of East Moreno Street, near Prospect Lake.

(FREMONT COUNTY, Colo.) — Two men have been arrested and charged after detectives with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) found about 180 boxes of ammunition, with each box containing 1,000 rounds. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, detectives with FCSO conducted a traffic stop of a car occupied by two people in Cañon City. During the search, detectives found what they estimated to be 150 boxes of .38 ammunition and approximately 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition.
