    A man has been arrested after a suspicious device was found at a home in Wexford town. The Army bomb disposal unit was called to the scene following the discovery at about 7:00 pm yesterday evening. A specialist team examined the device and "made it safe" - and a cordon has since been lifted. A man, in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and taken to a Garda station in County Wexford under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939. Investigations are ongoing.

Tipperary yesterday, Friday, 11 April. The incident occurred at around 9:50 pm and involved a car and a ride-on lawnmower. The man in his 30s, who was travelling on the lawnmower, was later pronounced dead at the scene.
