Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a nighttime robbery in Waterford City over the weekend. The man handed over the contents of his wallet after another man held a knife to his throat on John's Lane at around 3am on Monday morning. Gardaí have described the suspect as a black man who was with two other black men and a white woman. They fled the scene in an Audi saloon car, parked on Manor Street. Gardaí say they're particularly looking to speak to taxi drivers who may have footage of the incident.
