Wrestlemania 41 is in the books and it was an epic weekend for some of the biggest Irish wrestlers ever. Finn Balor, Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch all performed on the Grandest Stage of them all this weekend as WWE Wrestlemania took over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. While Bray native Balor, a 10-year WWE veteran, was unsuccessful in his pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship, Valkyria and the returning Lynch took home the gold as they won the Women's tag titles.

Ben Whittaker had nothing but praise for trainer Andy Lee after his massive knockout win over Liam Cameron on Sunday evening. A huge right hand to Cameron signalled the end of the contest in the second round of the duo's grudge match National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, with Cameron ending the bout with a clinical flurry. Speaking after the bout, Cameron heaped praise on his trainer Andy Lee and had kind words for his former World Champion coach.

Donegal edged past Monaghan this afternoon in a gripping Ulster Senior Football Championship encounter.
