She selected one and passed it to her perfume-making workshop attendees. "What do you feel when you smell it?" she asked. "It smells like a dead seagull," said one participant, who hoped to make a fragrance that evoked a cold, misty ocean. "Yes!" Khmelniuk exclaimed.
