NORTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) - One person was taken to the hospital following reports of a shooting in North Miami. The shooting happened at around 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the area of Northeast 123rd Street and West Dixie Highway, steps away from Mia Casa, a sheltered housing. Officers responded to the scene and found a person suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Authorities have recovered two Teslas after, they said, the vehicles were stolen from a parking lot in Northwest Miami-Dade used by a car rental company, as the search for the thieves responsible continues. Surveillance footage shows a man getting into a white Tesla Model X and ramming it through a gate along the 2500 block of Northwest 38th Court, just before 2 a.m. on Thursday.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A three-alarm scrap metal fire in Northwest Miami-Dade is under control, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said. Fire crews received the call at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in regard to a metal fire. Over 45 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units, including HazMat, responded, finding a column of thick black smoke covering the sky after a blaze engulfed a pile of recycling material close to a casino.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Three Tesla vehicles were reportedly stolen from a tire shop in Northwest Miami-Dade early Thursday morning. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of stolen Tesla vehicles from the Drivewhip rental company in the 2500 block of Northwest 38th Court just before 2:00 a.m.Surveillance footage shows a man getting into a Tesla and ramming it through a gate, allowing another suspect in a red Tesla to drive away.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Fire crews responded to a first-alarm fire at a scrap metal facility in Northwest Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue received the call at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in regard to a metal fire. 7Skyforce hovered near a recycling plant near the 3700 block of North River Drive, where a cloud of smoke was seen rising into the sky and blowing to the Southwest.
