NORTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) - One person was taken to the hospital following reports of a shooting in North Miami. The shooting happened at around 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the area of Northeast 123rd Street and West Dixie Highway, steps away from Mia Casa, a sheltered housing. Officers responded to the scene and found a person suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

MIAMI (WSVN) - A woman’s social media account has revealed that she’d been living in fear of her ex-husband, who took both of their lives in an apparent murder-suicide at her place of employment on Monday. “Whatever happens to me, he is responsible. There is a report made by local police here in the US,” said Indiana del Socorro Guzman Mendoza in a video posted on Facebook.

MIAMI (WSVN) - An apparent murder-suicide in Miami has left a man and a woman dead, police said. Around 8 a.m. Monday, City of Miami Police were dispatched to Del Toro Insurance located at 42 Northwest 27th Avenue regrading a person being shot. Upon arrival, police said they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot apparent wounds inside the office building. “It appears that the male may have been the shooter in this case,” said Miami Police Capt. Freddie Cruz.
