Police in Plymouth are on the looking-out for man they believe could be linked to a car park sexual assault on Good Friday. Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an investigation into the incident which happened at Devil’s Point car park at 9.45am on Friday (April 18). A spokesperson for the force said a man in his early 20s approached a woman in a parked vehicle in the car park at approximately 9.45am on Friday and sexually assaulted her.

Thousands of homes and businesses have been left without as a result of a burst water main, utility company South West Water (SWW) has confirmed. A burst pipe has left more than 13,000 properties without tap water this morning. SWW said homes in the PL6, PL19 and PL20 postcode areas of the city have been asked to go to two collection points where packs of bottled water are being handed out to residents.
