Tina Mackay spent 91 days in a drug rehabilitation program in Spokane about a year ago, but she may have never gone if not for a friend who cared for her two dogs - Rhonda and Rocky - while she was in treatment. "A friend of mine reached out and said that she had a friend that knew about addiction, and she wanted to help, and so she housed my dogs for 91 days," she said. "I called her every Wednesday night, and every Wednesday I said, 'How are my dogs?' And she responded every single week.
