MEDFORD, Ore. – Two people have been taken to the hospital after a white truck crashed into the side of a dental clinic on Murphy Street. Medford Police Department (MPD) told NewsWatch 12 that an employee of the dental clinic and the driver were the two people injured, and their conditions are unknown. A white pick-up truck was driving west on Siskiyou Blvd, for an unknown reason the truck veered through an intersection on Lazy Creek Rd, hitting the dental clinic.

The Wenatchee City Council voted Thursday to reverse an ordinance that required the mayor to confirm the termination of top city officials with the council. Ordinance 2023-12 was passed by the city council in Oct. 12, 2023 at the encouragement of then-Mayor Frank Kuntz. The council already had the power to confirm the appointment of top-level city employees - like the police chief or public works director - but confirming a termination was a new power.
