NORFOLK — In a stunning display of bravery, Navy sailor Gabriel Journey has emerged as a local hero following his courageous rescue during a fire at the Mira Mar Apartment Building on Sewells Point. While en route to the airport, Journey spotted flames engulfing the apartment building and felt compelled to help. He quickly pulled over and ran toward the chaos, responding to the screams of residents trapped on the second floor.
