Main Street from Heber Avenue to the Swede Alley will be closed from 2 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, as crews work to apply slurry seal, helping to extend the pavement’s lifespan and improve surface quality, according to Park City Municipal. Pedestrian access will remain open, with some minor detours as needed. There will be no vehicle access or on-street parking during the closure period. In the event of rain, work may be postponed to Wednesday, June 25.

Burn season closes for incorporated areas of Summit County on Friday, May 30, according to an update from the county. Starting June 1, open burns in unincorporated areas of Summit County require a permit from the Fire Warden or Assistant Fire Warden through Oct. 31.

From June 8–11, Park City will play host to a business leadership conference, titled Mission Driven: A Business Leadership Conclave. The event, which describes itself as a high-level business leader retreat, will host fewer than 50 hand-selected attendees and aims to bring together “global investors, tech founders, Fortune 500 executives and world changers,” according to organizer Mobi Events.
