Numerous fires have sparked across LA County this week, causing large destruction and thousands to lose their homes and evacuate. Since Tuesday morning of Jan. 7, fires have erupted in numerous locations across Los Angeles County. Strong winds further fueled the fires, spreading and burning thousands of acres within hours. 11 deaths have been confirmed as of Friday, Jan. 10. The Palisades Fire began Tuesday morning along with strong winds that contributed to the quick spread.

The sounds of voices singing, violins playing and trumpets blowing filled the La Mirada Theatre for Performing Arts on the evening of Dec. 7. The spirit of Christmas came alive at Biola’s Annual Christmas Concert, “Let the Nations Rejoice!,” where students, friends and families gathered together to celebrate the birth of Christ in song and praise.
