“Science Adventures” are short informational articles you can share with your kids! Read them aloud, look up words your kids don’t know, and dig deeper on topics that spark their interest at your local library or the internet. Today we’re learning about snowflakes!Today was an awfully snowy day where I live, and it made me think about snow itself. What makes snow…well, snow? Why do snowflakes look the way they do? Let me start by saying the unpopular thing out loud: I’m not normally a fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise. I know. Hear me out though. My first Zelda game was in the 1980s. I got confused. It has probably moved up a couple of levels now that I have read his big release this summer The Bright Sword. Ever a sucker for an Arthurian tale, when I saw that this was coming out, I knew that I would get to it before his more well known works.
