Now-former Tennessee starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava is now officially on the market after formally appearing in the college football transfer portal on Wednesday morning, the first day of the portal’s spring window. Per 247Sports national college football reporter Matt Zenitz, Iamaleava has a “do not contact” tag, which generally means a player knows where they are going or would like to have control of what programs are involved in the recruitment.

The 2025 season will be the league’s second with 16 teams, and the conference is as competitive as ever on and off the field. The league on Tuesday afternoon revealed the dates and appearance schedule for each of its teams and head coaches, and Josh Heupel and Tennessee are slated for the second day of the event on Tuesday, July 15.
