First, she somehow managed to cajole 16-1 chance Air Of Entitlement to an unlikely victory over Sixandahalf in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle before a perfect, patient ride helped Bob Olinger reel in favourite Teahupoo in the Grade 1 Stayers' Hurdle. Blackmore is one of the few figures in racing who truly transcend the sport.
