Honolulu's mayor issues an urgent call to action for people to help with Hawaii's chronic homeless problem. HONOLULU (Island News) -- Hawaii lawmakers green light a bill to expand red light cameras at Oahu intersections. The intersection at Ward Avenue and Lunalilo Street could be one of the locations added to the red light camera program, because of the high number of crashes there. Current red light cameras are found at ten Honolulu intersections, but under the bill an additional 25 intersections around Oahu would get cameras.
