The state has been battered by storms that show no sign of letting up Rain and wind will slam Florida this weekend as the Sunshine State finds itself in the path of a thundery weather system - just in time for the start of the 2025 hurricane season. Forecasters say a dry start to Saturday will be erased in the afternoon as rain clouds begin to fire up.
