(WGR 550) - It wasn't a good day for Tage Thompson or any of his Team USA Teammates as they got dominated on Monday by Switzerland 3-0. It was the Americans third game in four days and it showed. Switzerland had lost in overtime to Czechia 5-4, but got some welcome reinforcements in Nico Hischier, Timo Meier and Jonas Siegenthaler of the New Jersey Devils and Kevin Fiala from the Los Angeles Kings. Siegenthaler scored the second goal on USA goalie Joey Deccord of the Seattle Kraken.

(WGR 550) - In two games, Team USA still hasn't been scored on at the World Championship. Tage Thompson was an absolute force on Friday, but couldn't put the puck in the net on eight shots, many of which were dangerous. On Sunday, it was a totally different story.
