Premise Theories of plant–herbivore interactions hold that seedlings are more vulnerable to herbivory in warmer and more stable climates at lower elevations. Hypotheses of plant apparency, resource concentration, and resource availability have been proposed to explain variability in leaf herbivory. However, seasonal differences in the effects of these hypotheses on leaf herbivory on seedlings remain unclear.

4.3. Semi-Physical Experimental VerificationIn order to further prove the feasibility and advanced nature of the control strategy mentioned, it is verified on the RT-LAB platform. Figure 13 shows the RT-LAB platform. The lower machine contains multiple real-time simulators that transmit data over the PCIe bus. The selected CPU simulation step is 10 μs. Figure 14 shows the load transient waveforms of the four control strategies under the operation of the RT-Lab platform.

AbstractWe propose a newmethod to solve the sideeffect of polarization demultiplexing in Stokes space. The schemecalculates the phase difference between the two polarization statesaccording to the boundary of the projection of the signal on the S2-S3plane in Stokes space and completes the compensation by a phaseretarder. According to the analysis results, this scheme caneffectively solve the side effect caused by polarizationdemultiplexing in Stokes space.
