The heartbroken father of a Bondi stabbing victim has pleaded for a planned coronial inquest into the massacre to be called off. Millionaire advertising executive John Singleton says the family was already dealing with “unimaginable pain and grief” and can’t stand to relieve the tragedy all over again. A plane has been forced to turn around and head back to the airport two hours into its nine hour journey after a passenger lost their phone mid-flight. Air France flight AF750 had 375 passengers and 12 crew aboard when, about a quarter of the way into its trip from Paris to the Caribbean’s Pointe-a-Pitre, the pilots decided to change course. A passenger’s phone was reportedly lost in the cockpit during the March 21 flight.
